Arduino Pro Micro Quick Look

Compared to a nano I mean thats, just real me, zoom out just a little bit there. It is compared to a nano so in your arduino ide. This is going to show up as a leonardo because it is using the 80 mega 30 to you for processor and, unlike some of your other smaller microchips, this is a 5 volt board here. Okay, now its really cool is that 80 mega 30 to you 4 has an internal USB transceiver. So I mean you take a really close look at this here and you dont see a USB transceiver chip. In fact, I mean its a single sided board. Very nice. Very very compact, and of course it still has the same current capabilities as your other Arduino is generally about 20 milliamps per pin with a max of 40 milliamps. I mean that is absolute max and 200 milliamps for the entire board. It has 4 channels of 10 bit ADC and you can see them right here: a 0 a 1 a 2 and a 3. It has 5 PWM channels and they are D: 3 D, 5 D, 6 D, 9 and D 10. I said this was a 16 mega volt now itll accept up to 12 volts through this pin right here, labeled raw, and that will work very nicely because it will go right through this right here, which is the. I am three to two. That is a voltage regulator from on semiconductor.

It has 32 KF lash memory, 1k of EEPROM and 2.5 k of SRAM. Now, if we take a look here at the pin out on this thing, we can see weve got our TX and our rx, which also function as d0 and d1. We have two ground pins on this side and then we have D 2 through D 9 over here we have the raw for our voltage in ground. We have reset. Then we have BCC, which is our 5 volt out a3. A2. A1. A0. Then we have digital 15, 14, 16 and 10. Now, on this particular board, the I squared C SDA is digital to an SCO. Is digital 3 and your spi pins are s oclock on 15 me so on 14 and mossie on 16, and we can see that it has a micro, USB connector. It uses everything standard. Just like you know your basic Arduino, nothing special, except for its incredibly small size. So if I plug a guy in there add some power to it theres a little PWM program, I wrote that is fading in and out that led and you can see we have a power LED here and then we have LEDs here as well. So mmm I got this one off of Amazon. I think it was about nine dollars, Im sure you can find it on eBay, Alibaba and bang good for quite a bit cheaper. But I mean if youve got a small project, man that is just fantastic size, wise and you know, for the computing power thats available in there.

This things a winner.
